What happens when I create a mission?

You choose the service, enter the details (date, location, context) and confirm. The app immediately selects the eligible providers and sends them a notification. As soon as one or more providers declare themselves available, you are notified and they appear on your home screen. You pick the one that suits you, and the mission is confirmed. No phone calls, no emails to write.

How are providers vetted?

Every Nestora provider goes through a vetting process: identity document or passport, criminal record extract, profile photo validated by our team, diplomas checked when the service requires it (tutoring, music, beauty care). A residence permit is required for non-Swiss providers. Every provider must also hold liability insurance, with the policy uploaded and kept on file.

How long before a provider responds?

Most missions find a provider within minutes. For services with a fixed date (babysitting, pet sitting), it's best to post your request a little in advance so you can choose between several profiles. Missions without a time constraint (music lessons, tutoring, etc.) stay open for 7 days before being automatically archived if no one has accepted.

How much does it cost for clients?

The Nestora platform works with a credit system. Each mission you create uses a certain number of credits, clearly shown before you confirm. You can buy one-off packs if you've used up the monthly allowance included in your subscription. Free credits are offered at sign-up so you can try it with no commitment. Nestora is not a financial intermediary between the client and the provider. Payment for each mission takes place outside Nestora, at the price agreed between the parties.

How do I become a provider on Nestora?

Download the Nestora app and create your provider account. We will get back to you as soon as your registration has been validated by our team.

What if the chosen provider isn't right?

As long as the mission hasn't been confirmed by the client, no personal information is exchanged. You can wait for another offer or cancel your request at any time.

Are providers insured?

Yes. It's a non-negotiable requirement on our part. Every provider supplies a valid liability insurance certificate before they can work. For services involving a professional activity, professional liability insurance may also be required.

Every Nestora account has a personal referral code. Share it: the person you refer starts with free credits, and you are rewarded as soon as they subscribe.

The referral program works both ways: you can refer a future client as well as a future provider, whether you are a client or a provider yourself.

How it works

1. Share your code

Open the Nestora app, Store tab, Referral section: you'll find your personal code there, with a button to copy it or send it directly by message.

2. Your friend signs up

When signing up, the person you refer enters your code in the "Referral code" field. They immediately receive 5 bonus credits, on top of the 5 welcome credits - enough to discover Nestora without a subscription.

3. You receive 10 credits

As soon as the person you referred takes out a Nestora subscription - monthly or annual, as a client or as a provider - 10 bonus credits are added to your account, and you are informed by email and notification.

Trusted services deserve to be recommended

In Geneva, most families find their babysitter by word of mouth: we trust the person who has already proven themselves at a friend's home. Nestora's referral program rewards exactly that reflex. Do you know a family looking for a reliable childcare solution for an evening or after school? Share your code with them: they sign up, receive their free credits and get access to vetted babysitters near them.

Referrals also work the other way: if a student you know already looks after children and is looking for new families, refer them as a provider. They create their babysitter profile, and you receive your 10 credits as soon as they take out their provider subscription.

Can I refer the babysitter who already looks after my children?
Yes, if she doesn't have a Nestora account yet. She signs up as a provider with your code, receives 5 bonus credits, and you receive 10 credits as soon as she takes out a provider subscription.
How many people can I refer?
There is no limit: every referred person who takes out a subscription earns you 10 credits.
Do I need a subscription to refer or be referred?
No. Referral credits are bonus credits: they can be used with or without a subscription and never expire. The referrer's 10 credits are granted when the referred person takes out their subscription.
Who can be referred?
Anyone who has never had a Nestora account, client or provider. The code is entered once, at sign-up.
