• Professional training - ACACED, animal keeper CFC, OSAV certificate - is not required, but it shows on your profile and reassures owners

It is up to you to complete the administrative, social-insurance and tax formalities related to your activity: AVS registration, accident insurance, declaring your income, and a residence and work permit if you are not a Swiss national. For regular pet care for a private household, the household may be considered an employer under Swiss law; in Geneva, Chèque service files the declarations on its behalf.
