Nestora is looking for language teachers in Geneva

Geneva is a city where people learn languages at any age: expats who want to settle in French, families attached to their language of origin, adults preparing for an exam or a job interview. If you speak a language at native level - or close to it - Nestora lets you turn it into work as a self-employed private language teacher.

Students with very varied goals

• From complete beginners to advanced students wanting more fluent conversation, every request states the level: adapting the method is up to you
• A certification to prepare, a move abroad, a family language to keep alive, French to tame after arriving in Geneva: the student's goal shapes the content of your lessons
• Lessons at the student's home, at yours or by video call: you declare the formats you accept and only receive compatible requests
• Children, teenagers or adults; for a minor, progress reviews are done with the legal guardian

Who can teach a language on Nestora

• Any adult who has full command of the language they teach, spoken and written, as a native speaker or equivalent
• Ten languages are open for teaching: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Greek
• You can only offer languages declared among your spoken languages: that is what guarantees students authentic teaching
• No diploma is required; a teaching qualification such as FLE or TEFL, or hands-on experience, remains a genuine asset with students

Self-employed work, with no commission and no exclusivity

• You set your hourly rate and collect it directly, in full: Nestora takes no commission
• Requests matching your languages and lesson locations arrive on your phone; you only accept the ones that interest you
• Two hours a week or a proper part-time activity: you build your student base at whatever pace suits you

Create your profile on the Nestora app, enter your languages, lesson locations and rate: the first requests from Geneva students can arrive the very same day.
