Nestora is looking for Chinese teachers in Geneva

Geneva has an active Chinese-speaking community, international schools offering Mandarin and adults preparing it for their careers. If Chinese is your mother tongue or you master it at that level, Nestora lets you turn it into private teaching work, self-employed, with no agency.

Tones, characters, HSK: very different requests

• The child of a Chinese-speaking family who needs to keep up their grandparents' language, spoken and written
• The secondary school pupil who takes Mandarin at school and wants to consolidate characters and grammar
• The adult beginner aiming for conversation, or preparing an HSK level for a job or a move abroad

Each request states the level - beginner, intermediate, advanced -, the desired frequency and the location: at the pupil's home, at yours or online. You tick the options you accept and only receive compatible requests.

A language declared, a language actually spoken

On Nestora, you can only offer Chinese if it is among the languages you speak: families know they are dealing with a native speaker or someone of equivalent level. No diploma is required, but training in teaching Chinese as a foreign language or teaching experience stands out on your profile. Identity and photo are checked by our team.

Your lessons, your rate

You set your hourly rate and collect it directly, with no commission from Nestora. You reply to the requests that interest you; the pupil or their parents choose their teacher from the replies received.

Sign up on the Nestora app, add Chinese to the languages you teach and receive Mandarin lesson requests in Geneva.
