In the canton of Geneva, villa gardens and planted terraces are plentiful, and their owners are often short of time. Mowing, hedges, flower beds, autumn leaves: if you know the job and have the equipment, Nestora brings you those requests, for extra income or a proper self-employed clientele.

Lawn mowing, hedge and shrub trimming, weeding, planting and flower beds, vegetable garden upkeep, leaf collection, watering, terrace cleaning: in your profile you declare what you offer, and a request only reaches you if at least one of the services the client wants is among yours. Each request contains a description of the garden and the work expected, and the address.

Identity, criminal record extract and photo are checked by our team before your first job. Sign up on the Nestora app, tick your services and receive garden maintenance requests in Geneva.

Nestora is neither a placement agency, nor an employer, nor a payment intermediary. The app connects Geneva families with providers for one-off assignments: the contract is concluded directly between you and the client, who pays you in full, with no commission.

You work under your own responsibility. It is up to you to complete the administrative, social-insurance and tax formalities related to your activity: AVS registration, accident insurance, declaring your income, and a residence and work permit if you are not a Swiss national. For regular garden maintenance for a private household, the household may be considered an employer under Swiss law; in Geneva, Chèque service files the declarations on its behalf.

Official information: employing household staff (ge.ch), OCAS - household employer, OCAS - self-employment, standard employment contracts in force in Geneva.

Looking for a professional for your garden instead?
